Terms of Service

1. Service description

Talos is a project management platform for creative professionals. It provides tools for quoting, invoicing, file delivery, client communication, and payment collection.

2. Account registration

To use Talos, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

3. Subscription terms

Talos offers a free trial and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your account will remain accessible until the end of the current billing period, after which it will be moved to the expired plan.

Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days notice.

4. Artist responsibilities

As an artist using Talos, you are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of quotes and invoices you send to clients
  • Obtaining necessary rights to any files you upload
  • Complying with applicable tax laws for your jurisdiction
  • The content of messages you send through the platform

5. Client data handling

When you add clients to Talos, you are the data controller for their personal information. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process their data (e.g., contractual necessity). Talos acts as a data processor on your behalf.

6. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. Talos does not store credit card numbers. Payment disputes and chargebacks are handled according to Stripe's policies. Talos is not a party to the financial transaction between you and your client.

7. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to content you upload to Talos. By using the service, you grant Talos a limited license to store, process, and deliver your files as needed to operate the platform.

8. Limitation of liability

Talos is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
