1. What data we collect
When you create a Talos account, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, password (hashed)
- Business details: business name, address, phone, tax number, bank details (provided voluntarily for invoicing)
- Client data: client names, email addresses, and phone numbers that you add to projects
- Project data: project titles, descriptions, quotes, invoices, messages, and uploaded files
- Payment data: payment amounts and status (card details are processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers)
2. How we use your data
We use your data solely to operate the Talos platform:
- To provide project management, quoting, invoicing, and file delivery services
- To send transactional emails (quotes, payment requests, delivery notifications)
- To process payments through Stripe
- To manage your subscription and enforce plan limits
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Third-party processors
We share data with the following processors, only as needed to operate the service:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — authentication and user management
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Cloudflare (R2) — file storage
- Neon — database hosting
4. Data retention
Your account data is kept for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, we anonymize your personal information and client data. Audit logs are retained for compliance purposes.
5. Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (right to be forgotten)
- Port your data to another service
- Object to processing of your data
